Bad breath is a very common condition and it is expected that one in every four people suffers from this condition. It is a very annoying condition as it may prevent you to get involved into close conversation with other people. Finding a cure is always important if you want to lead a normal life.
Bacteria can cause bad breath
Ninety percent of the cases of smelly breath are caused by the bacteria that are present in the mouth. Most of the bacteria that cause bad breath live at the back of the tongue and should be dislodged if you want to get rid of the the smell.
Bacteria thrive on the food that remains in the mouth after eating food. Whenever food gets stuck in between the teeth or in the gum like this can cause bacteria to multiply and thus causes the problem.

The best way to achieve this is through regular brushing of the teeth. Flossing should also be done regularly. Scraping the tongue can also provide a cure for bad breath because a lot of bacteria are deposited on this part of the mouth. Cleaning your tongue regularly should provide an effective cure.
Brushing and flossing your teeth will greatly help to cure the bad breath that you might be experiencing and should provide a better cure than the use of mouthwash or gum that you may be using presently.
If ever your problem is caused by bacteria present on your teeth or on your tongue then the only cure for bad breath that you have is the toothbrush. You should try to brush and floss your teeth regularly in order to remove all the bacteria that are responsible for the the smell. Ideally you should brush your teeth each time that you eat so as to prevent the bacteria from receiving any fresh supply of food.
The main problem people suffer from when they have breath that smells is one of confidence, it will make you not want to talk to people, so will make relationships difficult
Many people do not count proper oral hygiene as a cure for bad breath and they are always looking for more expensive treatment to help them in their condition. If only people accept to brush their teeth adequately there are many conditions that will have been cured.
