This trend for resorting to home remedies is not new. In fact, they have their origin in the ancient times. To deal with day-to-day problems, like cough and cold, headache, vomiting, upset stomach etc; there are plenty of effective cure home remedies. Home remedy treatment makes use of things bestowed on us by nature like fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Processed foods are to be avoided as in most cases. Munching on junk foods might be an enjoyable experience but it brings in plenty of saturated fats to the body. This goes as well for canned or processed foods, which contributes chemicals some of which might be carcinogenic. Cold beverages like soda and heavy drinks such as rich cream milk are to be avoided.

Might be pure boredom, in a rut, in which case, making a change (e.g. work, home etc) might be the impetus you need. Lethargy Diet Eat a healthy and balanced diet. Fruits, vegetables and grains should be a major part of your diet. Drink lots of water. Avoid white sugar and processed foods. Avoid a diet with high fat content and less carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.

Take 1 glass juice of lemon and mix it with an equal quantity of grapefruit juice. Drink this mixed juice everyday.

Gooseberry is an excellent source of vitamin C. It keeps you active and drives away lethargy. Honey is an excellent source of energy. It is a natural preservative. It is also an antiseptic par excellent. Gooseberries that are available only 2-3 months in a year can be preserved in honey and used throughout the year. Honey helps retain the vitality and medicinal properties of gooseberries.

Avoid eating sharp edged food like dry bread or potato chips. Also avoid lozenges, chewing gums, coffee, tobacco and any food which you think can trigger ulcer formation.
