Lake Buena Vista, Florida, throughout the years the name has become synonymous with family vacations. A time out from the ordinary where children can shake hands with a 6 foot mouse and grown ups can let their hair down and re-discover the feeling of throwing all caution to the wind and not feeling guilty about having that 10 lb turkey leg. If the knee bone is connected to the ankle bone, then Lake Buena Vista has been connected to Walt Disney World for more then 35 years. As a travel writer, I am constantly on the look out for deals on travel; and with the help of the internet, I came across a gem.
Orlando, specifically Lake Buena Vista, is a moderate to expensive place to visit. Hotels line up the streets along with an array of tourist traps selling imprinted Disney memorabilia for $10 a shirt. These “deals” may appeal to the masses of tourists that visit the Disney area every year, but it really doesn’t sum up the great offers that are out there; if you know where to look. The Dunhill Vacations Exclusive offers a rate of $69 per night, which is 15% less than the lowest rate the Radisson Hotel website itself will get you. If that’s not a sweet enough deal for you, then listen to what this resort offers. This resort has 196 furnished guest rooms and suites, LCD flat panel televisions and sleep number beds.
For those of you that want a more ‘active’ feel to your vacation, then how about checking out their state of the art fitness center or their mega-size pool where you can enjoy your favorite cocktail at the Tiki bar located within close proximity to the pool and the whirlpool.
Enjoy a fabulous dinning experience when you visit some of the areas best restaurants. Along with their in-house Liquid Bar & Grill specializing in American cuisine, dinner can be served a short distance away at such places as Fish Bones, Charlie’s Steak House, Olive Garden and Orlando Ale House.
