3 Ways to Lose the Baby Fat - Stat!

Sometimes chasing your toddler around the playground isn't enough to lose the baby fat. Our bodies can get pretty used to our regular workout routine and often new mothers can plateau and get stuck in a rut while trying to lose the pregnancy weight. You don't have to run a marathon to get back on track but there are three things you can do to cross that weight loss finish line.
3. Eat your Heart out
You don't have to spend hours at the gym to get back in shape. Short bursts of quick cardio that tell your muscles to burn up your calories all day long are better than sweating buckets on the treadmill.
I have been to three personal trainers and they always preached the benefits of short fast workouts that gear your metabolism up for the whole day. So the next time the baby is having a snooze try and lose the baby fat with a speedy workout.
2. Stay on Target
Losing the pregnancy weight can be hard especially around those soft areas. Mommies need to focus on those tummy areas that are so troublesome.
By using your own body weight in resistance training you will lose that baby fat faster than with any machine at the gym. Simple and fun ways to do this at home would be with free weights or better yet an exercise ball; which allows you to use more muscles at a time thus burning more calories all day.
3. Ditch the Diet
When you're not exercising you don't have to eat mashed bananas with your baby in order to lose the baby fat. Fad diets as we all know are not the key to success!
The stigma attached to snacking is gone now that you can get your hands on fresh fruit and low fat chips at your local markets. Make sure to pop a mouth full of almonds or make yourself a power fruit smoothie so your metabolism is always working just as hard as you are.
You don't have to say, "abracadabra!" to lose the baby fat. Simply stay focused on the goal and keep it fun. Trim your tummy with these tricks and try and remember that 90% of succeeding is trying!
