Every now and then, a travel opportunity comes across my desk and makes me sit up and take notice of the intimate details. A package getaway including airfare or a cruise to some Caribbean island is what I mostly uncover. Seldom comes a time where the actual vacation lies within the resort itself. JW Marriott Resorts have come out with some over the top deals to some of the country's most luxurious and upscale resorts.
There are different levels of Marriott's from moderate to luxury, in this article; I am focusing on their Luxury Resorts. These resorts are reserved for an extremely upscale clientele, if your budget is tight but you still want to get away in luxury, you can take advantage of these insane sales!
Camelback Inn, A JW Marriott Resort & Spa – located in gorgeous Scottsdale, Arizona, is the first location on our Deal Alert. As one other visitor so elegantly put it “There simply aren't enough adjectives to choose from to describe this truly amazing place. It's definitely certain that "Time does stand still" while you're there.” Listed as one of the biggest con’s to this resort, and I had to really research all of the travel community websites to find one, was the price. The estimated price is close to $350 per night for just the room, but Camelback Inn is cutting that rate and including a spa treatment for two and a full Marriott breakfast daily! This package is $220 per person. There are also similar deals that include one round of Golf per person per day.
JW Desert Springs Marriott Resort & Spa is located in Palm Desert, California and has whatever you need to make your stay as memorable as possible. This resort offers four pools, kids’ club, 36 holes of championship golf, relaxing spa and so much more. One of the most interesting features about this resort is a gondola ride, which takes guests down Venetian-inspired waterways to any one of the four delicious signature restaurants. With a lobby reinvention, this impressive new port-cochere is the gateway to this southern California resort which is now running at $199
JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes – As a child I found Orlando to be the best place to go on vacation. They have everything there; Disney, Universal, warm sunshine, fun-filled days, exciting nights. Sometimes families need a break from the Theme parks, and just need a little R&R before going back. A 4-star luxury resort, the JW Marriott Orlando – Grande lakes, takes the Orlando experience for adults who are still kids at heart and parents who need to get their vacation as well. JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina, Honolulu Hawaii – I started my career as a travel agent for the rich and famous, and this resort was a favorite among stars I can not mention, but you get the gist. I always say that one sure way of knowing that your staying in a nice place, is ask some of the locales. One local, who lives only 20 minutes away from the resort, said “we try to stay at the Ihilani Resort & Spa two to three times a year… It's a beautiful resort and a wonderful place to relax”.
