When we were asked to write a little story that included the 83 Inch Pedestal Poker Table with Dealer Spot, the first thing we thought about was Jordan s graduation. College was about to be over and even though he was graduating with unbelievable grades, we knew the last four years were full of more play then work at his college dorm. So we got him four or five new suits he could wear in the new world to get that career job he had been working towards the last seven years.
Yes, we know college is only supposed to be four years. While it s an extremely long story, the short version is that he went part time. We always used to joke with him because his other part time work was playing poker with the other college kids on campus. So after we bored him to tears with new suits we asked him to go out and grab a table for us in the garage for all the company that was coming over to help celebrate.

If one person raised and Jordan stayed in then everyone would play just so he would lose. The last game however we had already planned on losing and letting him win. Why? It wasn t because he was graduating from college, but because we had one more present to give.
It was a trip for two to the following year s WSOP with accommodations, airfare, and $2,500 in spending money. We had it in the poker chip box locked up and just placed it in the middle of the 83 Inch Pedestal Poker Table with Dealer Spot for everyone to see. When he finally won, I slid over a tiny envelope holding the key and when he opened the Casino Poker Tables box no words could describe the moment. It s the happiest I had ever seen him, and that memory alone was enough to last a lifetime.
