Assuming you are in a situation similiar to where we were initially, It was challenging to generate MLM leads. Finding the MLM leads was not really the issue. The price of these leads were high. We decided to explore the internet. In no time, we started producing around 30 free MLM leads. Assuming you are talking to that many people daily, what difference do you think that will make in your primary business? Linkedin was very instrumental in this.
Linkedin is a social network filled with professionals. This website if dominated with working folks. On Linkedin, you will meet presidents (even of USA), CFO, recruiters etc. From the professionalism view, these are the population that you want in your MLM Network Marketing business. The last people that you want in your enterprise are the sluggish peope. Otherwise, you would be running an Adult day care center.
Your credibility is very crucial on Linkedin In terms of using Linkedin to generate free Network Marketing leads. These are working people. They are the corporate people. You should at least appear that you are worthy of their time.
Do not sell anything on Linkedin. When you are on twitter, you can sell your business opportunity. On Facebook, you can advertise your product or business opportunity. This is however the least effective way to run your business.. But on Linkedin, this is a “No No”. All you have to do is educate.
Take your time to properly fill out your page. The type of folks that are on Linkedin take into account this minor stuff. Stay away from commonly used abbreviations like "lol". Acronyms like that are aceptable on Facebook and other website. But they will no do you any good on Linkedin. Your picture is also very important.. Do not put up a non professional picture of you. Use any of your professional looking picture. Perception carries a lot of weight on Linkedin.
Make sure you join targeted groups. Look up business related groups. Join Targeted groups. Do not join a farmers' group. I know you get my point. How will that benefit you? Look up groups for business saggy people and join it. Join groups of other MLM companies there and educate them. Make sure that they group has a lot of members.
As you learn more about the Linkedin strategy, you would have to join groups and post educating and enlightening contents on the groups’ wall. Your expression on these walls is very crucial. Pay attention to your grammar as much as you can. Again, it goes back to the type of people that will be reading the content that you post on the walls.
Recommendations is also crucial on Linkedin. You need at least 3 to 5 recommendations on Linkedin. It would be nice to get a top earner to recommend you.But that would take forever to happen. Talk to anyone that you know on it to recommend you. This is about getting validated by a 3rd party, Similar to the traditional 3-way prospecting call. The interesting part is as soon as people start benefiting from you posts, they will recommend you for others. So there is a viral effect here.
If you are wondering what you should write about; you should focus on learning new things every day. You should study books and listen to audio books. Use Google to educate yourself on important topics like MLM prospecting, MLM training etc. EDUCATE YOURSELF and train whatever you have learned to others.
You should understand by now that this is about branding you as leader. If you are like me, I get an average of 30 emails per day on Facebook and twitter of people telling me how great their product and MLM business is. I usually delete them as soon as I open them. STOP PITCHING YOUR BUSINESS TO OTHER PEOPLE. ADD VALUE TO PEOPLE. Educate them on the regular basis and train them for free. They will join your primary business.
