Identifying the symptoms of Lime Disease can be tricky. Some of the ticks that cause lyme disease are very small while others are very large. Lyme Disease symptoms are usually diagnosed incorrectly as another disease. Other diseases are occassionally diagnosed when Lyme Disease was the primary thought. In this article we will talk about some of the symptoms. Read on if you think you may have Lyme Disease.

Your symptoms will be different in each stage of the disease which makes identifying them more difficult. The Three basic stages of Lyme Disease are discussed here. The very first stage of Lyme Disease is referred to as early localized disease with it's primary symptom being skin inflammation. This is one of the most recognizable symptoms of the disease. A rash in the shape of a bulls eye will begin at the site of the bite and spread throughout the body. If you are smart you will seek treatment at the first sign of this rash. Be mindful of changes in your skin. Call your doctor if you notice any changes. Some people only show signs of the disease in the later stages and never develop the rash. A few people receive a bite and stay symptom free in the beginning stages of the disease. On top of that, some never show any symptoms at all, one in four to be exact. If you live in a place that Lyme disease is a big problem, this can be a hard fact to accept. Checking for ticks on a regular basis is very important for those who live in these areas.

Lyme Disease has a variety of symptoms. Lyme Disease symptoms rarely build on one another they are typically independent of each other making it harder to diagnose. In fact, depending on which stage of the disease you have moved into, your symptoms can be incredibly varied. This disease has three stages. The last stage causes nerve damage in the motor and sensory functions in the body and is referred to as "late disease". Arthritis and brain inflamation are two of the symptoms of this stage. A diagnoses of Lyme Disease at this stage is very difficult and requires alot of stringent testing to prove the diagnosis. Lyme disease isn't usually apparent until everything else has been ruled out. Lyme disease can be tricky to diagnose. Since the symptoms of Lyme disease are the same as for other disorders. Especially for those who never develop the bull's eye rash so easily identified. So if things just haven't been right lately go see your doctor. He or she might find a tick bite and be able to get you the treatment you need.
