When the correct ones are chosen from the supermarket, then you will be able to get all of the nutrition that this vegetable has got. The criteria for choosing this vegetable include firm peel and dark color.

Although sweet potatoes taste sweet, but they contain little sugar. This is not only good for our health, but also fulfills our appetite. They are also low in calories, which is news that sounds better than anything else for people who are always looking to lose weight or keep fit. You can be as full as you want at the dinner table. But you will not worry about your weight measurements.

Sweet potato is also fibrous. The fibers contained in them will not only regulate the blood sugar in our body, but also cleanse our digestive track. If you have got constipation, then it will help you much in making your life much easier.

It can also have excellent medical value. For example, the antioxidants contained in it will help to ease such ill conditions as inflammation and arthritis.
